This festive season, we’re opening our doors for a series of special events filled with good food, good company and a little Christmas magic.
Whether you’re bringing the family to meet Santa, getting together with friends for cocktails and live music, joining us around the table for a festive Sunday roast, or ordering your Christmas cake and mince pies to enjoy at home, there’s something special to look forward to at Rebecca’s Kitchen this Christmas.
Places are limited across our events, allowing us to keep each one personal and make sure every guest feels genuinely looked after from the moment they arrive.

Festive Retail Evening
- THURSDAY 12TH NOVEMBER
Join us for one of our favourite evenings of the year as Rebecca’s Kitchen and the Malt Kiln Farm Shop get Christmas well and truly underway.
Browse a beautiful selection of independent makers, local businesses, gifts and seasonal treats, with festive food and drinks available from Rebecca’s Kitchen counter throughout the evening.
Come for a browse, bring a friend and enjoy a relaxed evening of Christmas shopping, with live festive music helping set the mood.

Afternoon Tea With Santa & Mrs Claus
-Saturday 12th December | Please arrive for 2pm
Step into a little Christmas magic with us at Rebecca’s Kitchen.
Your afternoon begins with a very special welcome from our alpacas — Santa’s reindeers’ distant cousins, who are helping out while the real reindeer put their feet up and get ready for the big day.
Then it’s upstairs to The Malt Loft, where a festive afternoon tea will be served to your table. While you enjoy your afternoon, little ones can have their face painted, write their letter to Santa and spend time with Mr & Mrs Claus as they make their way around the room.
As the afternoon draws to a close, Santa will gather everyone together for a Christmas story before handing out a special goody bag to every child.

A little note before you book: Our afternoon tea is part of the full Christmas experience, so every adult and child attending will need their own afternoon tea ticket.
A Festive Evening of Cocktails, Music & Grazing
- FRIDAY 18TH DECEMBER
Your Christmas Night Out, Sorted: Cocktails, a Feast & Live Music.
This Christmas, join us for A Festive Evening of Cocktails, Music & Grazing — an evening made for good company, good food and a live soundtrack to match.
Your ticket includes a welcome cocktail — choose from a Christmas Cosmo, Winter Berry Gin Fizz, or an alcohol-free Spiced Apple Spritz — before settling in to enjoy our festive grazing table.
Expect Rebecca’s Kitchen festive sausage rolls, turkey, stuffing & cranberry brioche rolls, seasonal favourites to share and something sweet to finish.
Live music will run throughout the evening, with a festive set that goes well beyond the usual Christmas carols.
Fancy another round? Our full bar will be open all evening, with additional cocktails, wine, beer and soft drinks available to purchase.

The perfect way to spend the last Sunday before Christmas. Gather around the table for a festive Rebecca’s Kitchen roast with all the trimmings, while Santa Sax brings the room to life with Christmas favourites throughout the afternoon.

Booking & tickets
Do I need to book?
Ticketed events and festive dining experiences must be booked in advance. Availability is limited and some events are expected to sell out.
Our usual downstairs café remains walk-in only unless you are attending a pre-booked festive experience such as Afternoon Tea.
Can I pay on the night?
All ticketed events require advance payment to secure your place. The Retail Evening on 12th November is free — no ticket required, though you are welcome to register interest.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancellation and amendment terms may vary depending on the event. Please check the booking conditions shown when purchasing your ticket or making your reservation.
Can I book for a large group?
Absolutely. Larger parties are very welcome. Depending on your group size, tables may be joined together and larger bookings may be seated across neighbouring tables.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, we can accommodate many dietary requirements with advance notice. Please provide full details when booking.
Due to the nature of our kitchen and shared preparation areas, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before booking so we can discuss your requirements.
Are children welcome at all events?
The Afternoon Tea with Santa and Sunday Roast are perfect for families with children. Carols, Cocktails & Canapés on 18th December is an adults-only (18+) evening. The Retail Evening is suitable for all ages.
What should I wear?
Smart casual for the Afternoon Tea, Sunday Roast and Retail Evening. For Carols, Cocktails & Canapés — dress up and enjoy it. It's Christmas, after all.
